"Restrepo" Documentary Captures the Life of a Soldier in Afghanistan.

Politics are a part of every war, but not always a part of the lives of those who fight them, according to Sebastian Junger, co-director, producer and videographer of the documentary "Restrepo," which details the lives of a platoon of soldiers over a 14-month-deployment in the Korengal Valley, Afghanistan.

"There's a larger conversation about the war, a political conversation," said Junger, who sat down with moderator Bob Orr on Washington Unplugged today along with Major Daniel Kearney, the commander of the men in the documentary. "It's a necessary one, but that happens here. The soldiers really don't think in those terms and we wanted to capture their reality."

عندما تشتاق للعزة

عندما نفرح لاننا كسبنا كأس افريقيا.

عندما نحاول حضور خطاب اوباما فى القاهرة لانه خطاب موجه للمسلمين.

عندما نسعد باسلام لاعب كرة او احد المشاهير.

عندما يتجمع الناس على الدعاء من اجل الفوز فى مباراة.


ليس المقصود من سرد تلك الحقائق الاستهزاء بمشاعرنا

و لكننا اصبحنا نشعر بالقهر و فقدنا معنى العزة.


و لاننا لم نذوق معنى العزة فى واقع حياتنا العملية

اخذنا نبحث عن العزة و النصر فى اشياء اخرى مهما كانت صغيرة ,مهما كان هذا الشئ لا يعني الكثير.

المهم اننا اخذناه و التففنا حوله حتى صار حدث محط انظار الجميع .. حتى لا يكاد يخلو شارع من الحديث عنه.


انا فخورة باننا نستطيع ان نلتف حول هدف واحد حتى اننا بكل شجاعة نطلب من الناس الدعاء لهذا الهدف مع علمنا ان هناك ما هو الاهم.

لذلك فحان وقت ان نجعل الهدف الذي نلتف حوله هو العزة الحقيقية كما فعلوها اصحاب اسطول الحرية و لم يترددوا فى ان يدافعوا عن قضية ليست قضيتهم و لكنهم كانوا مع الحق مهما كان الثمن.

فاذا كنا نشتاق للعزة فعلينا بالسعي وراء اعمال كبيرة و نتحد و لا نتفرق و لنعلم ان الشيطان سيدخل بيننا فى الخلوات ليهزم نفسيتنا و يشغلنا بكل ما هو غير مهم حتى لا تكون العزة للاسلام.

و لكننا بالعزم لن نهزم علينا بالنجاح في مجالتنا و تربية ذرية صالحة و تربية انفسنا اولاً و ليكن الدفاع عن الحق نصب اعيوننا سواء كان حق المسلم او غير المسلم.


وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَى{39} وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُ سَوْفَ يُرَى{40}

نسأل الله الهداية و حسن الخلق و الاخلاص و الصدق فى القول و العمل
و ان لا يجعل الدنيا اكبر همنا
اللهم افرغ علينا صبرا و ثبت اقدامنا

Don't hit it .. 2 Hurt urself !

It's very disappointing through life when you need something to happen or something to achieve and it ends to a failure or things go to another direction.

Let's tell the story from the beginning..

You want something.

You put some goals to get what u want.

Some people interfere, they make you confused / distracted / suspected.

You feel disappointed because one of the following, or actually all of them:

a) feel you became far from your goal.
b) you followed others who claimed that there is another fake shortcut.
c) you aren't sure is this what I really need to do.
d) asking yourself, Do I really have a purpose of living?

Now, Let's put some thoughts.

If you really believe what you wanted wasn't worthy then simply leave it :) .. and consider it as an experience for you, at least u discovered "I don't want it".

“Take time to gather up the past so that you will be able to draw from your experience and invest them in the future.” - Jim Rohn

If you believe what you want is worthy then get it by your way, and if anyone wanted to interfere let them interfere also by your way.

Don't let anyone to make you feel you aren't good enough or to marginalize your efforts and thoughts, Go to the ones you trust and take their advices and avoid the negative voices.

Words are too easy to be said or written specially when it comes that someone hurts you close ones or non close or feeling so depressed, but you have to take the responsibility of strengthening yourself.

"What doesn't break you, only makes you stronger"


Be strong.. Be yourself, isn't that all about being Muslim..

لا تيأسن من لطف ربك في الحشا ... في بطن أمك مضغة ووليـدا

لو شــاء أن تصلى جهنم خالـدا ... ما كان أَلْهمَ قلبك التوحيــدا

اللهم اني اسألك حسن الخاتمة و مرافقة
الرسول صلى الله عليه و سلم فى الفردوس..

و ان يجعل قبورنا روضة من رياض الجنة

تدريبات إيمانية قبل رمضان؟؟

و هذا وقت يستغله الشيطان

بالفتن كالنظر و الكلام و السمع

فى اشياء تزيد من قلوبنا قسوة و تضعف من الايمان..

اوصي نفسي اولاً ثم اوصيكم .. فلنتدرب من الان

حتى نجعل رمضاننا هذا العام مميز

اللهم بارك لنا فى رجب و شعبان
