Why I'm doing this ?!!

It was my fate to hear a word that I can't forget.. I heard it on an Islamic Lecture before ramadan three years ago, and lecturer talked in a part of his speech about what living is all about?

He said to live isn't to get busy with all the stuff you are doing, getting tired and take a break then getting busy once more and then remember that you forgot important stuff in your life (such as family, friends, ... yourself).

The weird thing is that we feel such a burden that we have to keep ourselves busy at work to avoid our life emptiness, and then feel lost "why I'm doing that? mmmmm because I should do... then why I feel I want to do other things? .. because should is more urgent then what you want to do.. and honestly if you are free of shoulds, most probably you'll waste your time without achieving any of the wants.."

I guess the problem is that we forget the words that the lecturer said which are "Remember we are living on a road that begins on Donia and ends by meeting Allah.."

I really imagined on my mind that road and that at the end of it, i'm facing Allah asking me about my life.

Maybe the problem is the our pressure side is totally unconnected to our spiritual side, it's not because it's impossible to be connected.. but because we are too tired to think while we are working..
  • I'm doing it for Allah's satisfaction not for anybody else.
  • I'm doing it for Islam.. so that people look towards the good role model of Muslims and be influenced by our productivity and characters.
  • I'm doing it for my country to be more powerful and to be able to set our own rules of justice instead of following others rules.
  • I'm doing it for Jannah.
I know we all begin with this spirit but as long as we suffer from workload and stress, our intentions are evaporated.

When this happens, take a break and Pray and ask Allah to solve you problem, when things work great go and make "sagdet shokr".

Be connected with Allah in good and bad moments and this is the behavior of the true behavior (",) ..

and by this at the end of the road, you won't be afraid because you were connected spiritually and it's the moment to be connected by all means.
